826 Michigan is a non-profit operating out of Ann Arbor and Detroit. Their after school writing programs aim to combat illiteracy in at-risk youth while promoting creative writing skills. They publish periodicals that showcase students' short stories and as a part of a Community Design course, I designed a book that kept their budget and printing restrictions in mind, while maintaining the youthful style of their audience.
